I say, I see all these people I used to know and they all still have the same friends, and still go to the same places, and it’s like they haven’t broken orbit, they’re just endlessly circling themselves, I say, and then I look at myself, and I think I’m so different, but then what am I still doing in this house. I say, I think, maybe I’m just like them except without the friends and places. She says, you have to remember that you were pulled from your orbit before you would perhaps have chosen to break it. And I suspect you’re still in that house because you’re hoping, one day, to find a family there.
